Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer/Sr. Software Engineer – SAP- to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Configure and support SAP FI modules:

• General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting
• Perform end-to-end configuration based on business requirements
• Conduct business process analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design
• Handle integration with other modules such as MM, SD, and CO
• Prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements
• Support testing activities:
• Unit Testing
• Integration Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide production support and resolve issues within SLA
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration
• Solid understanding of:
• General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting
• Experience in end-to-end SAP FI implementation/support
• Knowledge of:
• Automatic Payment Program (APP)
• Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)
• Tax configuration
• Understanding of FI integration with MM/SD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong documentation skills
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with New GL / S/4HANA Finance
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps
• Experience with interfaces and IDocs
• Knowledge of local taxation / GST (India)
• SAP FI certification (preferred but not mandatory)
