SAP Event Management

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Configuration: Design, configure, and implement SAP EM solutions to track and monitor business processes.
• Process Tracking: Configure Expected Events, Unexpected Events, and Event Processors to automate alerts and actions.
• Integration: Integrate SAP EM with other SAP modules (SAP S/4HANA, TM, WM, GTS) and external, non-SAP systems using RFCs, IDOCs, and XML/PI.
• Rule Set Management: Develop and manage Event Handlers, Rule Sets, and Web Interface functionalities.
• Data Analysis: Perform data mapping, migration, and ensure data integrity within the SAP EM landscape.
• Support & Documentation: Provide functional/technical support, troubleshoot, and create functional specifications and test plans.
  
  

• Experience: Proven experience as an SAP Event Management Consultant or Specialist.
• SAP Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), and related modules.
• Technical Skills: Experience with RFCs, IDOCs, BAPI, and XML.
• Functional Skills: Expertise in supply chain visibility, event monitoring, and exception management.
• Communication: Excellent collaboration skills to work with business users and technical teams.

• Automate detection of deviations and reactions to events.
• Optimize supply chain efficiency and performance.
