Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Workflow & ABAP Developer with 10+years of experience to design, build, and optimize custom solutions in SAP ECC/S/4HANA. You will be delivering workflow solutions for various business processes and coordinating with business users to determine and suggest solutions for various scenarios in procurement, supply-chain and finance modules.

The ideal candidate has strong technical depth, understands functional processes, and collaborates effectively with business stakeholders and BASIS/security team

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and enhance workflows in SAP to automate business processes, approval processes and notification processes.
• Implement event linkages, BOR/Classes, task containers, deadline monitoring, substitutions, and escalations.
• Develop workflow user tasks (UI5/Fiori My Inbox, SAP GUI, Web Dynpro) and handle error monitoring (SWI1, SWIA).
• Create custom workflow templates, rules (BRF+, Rule Resolution via Function Module/Org Object), and inbox optimization.
• Strong knowledge of various business workflows across all SAP modules
• Develop and deliver SAP ABAP development tasks for various modules of S/4 HANA
• Independently deliver end-to-end ABAP solutions right from design, coding, testing and deployment
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP workflows in production system
• Review functional requirements and write technical design documents
• Perform code reviews.
• Proficiency in debugging ABAP code, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in SAP Workflow, BRF+, ABAP, OOP and other new trends in ABAP like CDS, OData etc.
• Overall 5+ years of experience with SAP workflow design and development.
• Proficiency in using workflow tools like workflow builder, business object builder and UWL
• Strong SAP workflow experience for providing design and development guidance for key SAP business processes.
• Experience with SAP BTP and should be able to work on services over BTP
