Role Overview

The role provides SAP S/4HANA ABAP development, integration support and technical AMS services, ensuring stable operations, fast incident and problem resolution, quality delivery of enhancements and continuous improvement across SAP product areas.


Key Responsibilities

• Application support: Provide 2nd and/or 3rd level support by analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting incidents and problems across SAP S/4HANA applications and integrations.
• Development delivery: Work within an agile development team to refine user stories, design technical solutions, perform ABAP development, unit testing and support end-to-end validation of new features.
• S/4HANA technical enhancements: Develop, enhance and maintain ABAP objects using OO ABAP, BAPI, CDS views and cloud-compliant development approaches aligned with clean-core principles.
• Integration support: Analyze and support integration patterns including APIs, OData services and related interface dependencies in collaboration with functional, CPI, Basis and security teams.
• Project ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned project deliverables across design, build, test, deployment, hypercare and transition to operations.
• Problem and change management: Support root cause analysis, permanent corrective actions, approved changes, transports, release activities and operational documentation in line with ITSM standards.
• Capability building: Guide, coach and train team members to build competencies in ABAP development, S/4HANA technical design and support practices.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP development and integration experience, with application development experience in SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong technical knowledge of OO ABAP, BAPI, CDS views and cloud-compliant development practices.
• Experience with SAP technical analysis, debugging, testing, code quality, transport handling and documentation.
• Knowledge of integration patterns such as APIs and OData services; exposure to SAP BTP or RAP is an advantage.
• Preferable functional understanding of SAP S/4HANA MM and surrounding modules such as SD, TM and FI/CO.
• Standard ITSM knowledge and practical experience in incident, problem, change and service request management.
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership mindset, customer orientation and clear communication in English.
  
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP BTP, RAP, Fiori/UI5 integration scenarios or clean-core extensibility concepts.
• Experience with SAP development tools, ATC/quality checks, Git-based workflows, CI/CD or DevOps practices.
• SAP ABAP, S/4HANA or BTP certification; German, Spanish or Mandarin language skills are a plus.
