Be a strategic business partner and manage Financial and Customer Service activities for a team of front line performers responsible for exception management in the form of promotional deductions, pre and post audit claims and other portfolio exceptions such as short and over payments and unreferenced deductions. You will be the focal point of communication and relationship building with internal and external Pepsi business partners. You will be leading and supporting internal projects integrating process, technology and analysis to drive Annual Operating Plan (AOP) wins.
To drive success, you will be leading a group of professional-level individuals who are committed to delivering best in class customer service through building business partnerships, improving productivity by streamlining business processes to increase efficiencies, and minimizing exceptions via trend analysis and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
Financial and Strategic Management:
Leverage technology and process to re-conceptualize the way we do business
Review account portfolios for exception opportunities and actively develop game plans to that will deliver P&L protection and meet targets
Lead key AOP projects that drive internal and external process change through process enhancements (e.g., reduced exceptions, streamlining), leveraging of technology and completion of analysis
Partner with internal and external Business Partners to implement and rollout new processes and systems
Develop strategic business plans that support the acquisition and integration of additional business in the Financial Operations department
Project/Process Management:
Lead initiatives designed to improve and sustain field and GBS compliance of processes, practices and procedures
Provide tools and analyze trends to improve compliance and reduce exceptions
Facilitate communication practice for changing operational processes
Network with HQ Finance, Sales, and GBS Leadership to identify areas for improvement, and lead the initiative to implement change
Coaching:
Build individual performer capability through coaching, development planning and follow through on training
Motivate and sustain high energy levels in an organization with high performance standards
Develop the business leaders of the future by identifying potential key talent and coaching for success
Individual Development Plan:
Drive self-development and continuous learning by actively participating in coaching and executing against developmental feedback
Demonstrate concern for expanding own skill set and knowledge of business
Qualifications
Four-year degree or comparable business experience
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
Minimum of 3 years financial services management/responsibility
Minimum of 2 years of experience in AR or Financial Operations Management
A very high level of proficiency with Microsoft Applications ( e.g. Advanced Excel and Power Point)
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with multiple levels of internal and external business partners
Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to lead, manage and complete multiple concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders
Proven motivator and goal oriented team leader
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to uncover subtle opportunities, assess materiality, exposure and to implement creative solutions
