Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Release Lead to plan, coordinate, and oversee software releases for our graph database platform, cloud services, and integration tools. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to ensure smooth, high-quality, and on-time delivery of software updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Release Management: Manage the entire release lifecycle from planning and testing to rollout and post-release support for database engine and cloud components.
- Planning & Coordination: Set release schedules, track milestones, manage dependencies, and coordinate across Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Support teams.
- Quality & Testing Governance: Oversee regression, performance, and high-availability testing; track defect triage and ensure product quality before final sign-off.
- CI/CD & Automation: Work with DevOps to streamline automated build and deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) to speed up testing and releases.
- Risk & Issue Tracking: Identify risks early, prepare contingency plans, and escalate critical blockers with recommended fixes.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in Release Management, Program Management, Quality Engineering, or Software Delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent field.
- Proven track record of managing complete software release lifecycles for complex, distributed systems or database platforms in Agile setups.
- Good understanding of SDLC, Change Management, distributed database architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Graph database concepts & distributed systems
- CI/CD pipelines & tools (Jenkins, GitHub)
- Automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Pytest, JMeter)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
