Job Description
Deliver timely, accurate party reference static data setup and maintenance in Party Central to support firm standards and regulations. Own end-to-end data quality by validating requests, resolving exceptions, and driving change and automation improvements.
As a Reference Data Operations Analyst within Party Reference Data Operations, you are responsible for timely and accurate completion of client reference static data setup and maintenance across multiple LOBs and locations in the Party Central system. You onboard new clients and process amendments, static data updates, mergers, and deactivations within specified timelines, ensuring all requests are authorized and fully understood before execution. You perform quality checks, follow procedural guidelines with validated documentation, resolve issues and escalations, and track volumes/productivity while supporting firm standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain client static/reference data in Party Central by onboarding new clients and processing amendments, updates, mergers, and deactivations within timelines.
- Validate that requests come from authorized sources and confirm requirements are clearly understood before taking action.
- Perform quality checks to ensure reference data is accurately maintained in systems after updates are completed.
- Follow procedural guidelines and verify supporting documentation prior to actioning requests.
- Resolve discrepancies, exceptions, open issues, and escalations end-to-end, keeping management informed throughout.
- Liaise with requestors and business partners to clarify inputs, coordinate actions, and ensure timely completion.
- Analyze data, conduct research, and execute remediation activities as required to improve data integrity and reduce repeat breaks.
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant business experience
- 3+ years experience in financial services or related industries, including Reference Data or similar functions
- Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and support the function
- Fluency in written and spoken English with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Experience with client/static data onboarding and lifecycle events across multiple LOBs and locations
- Demonstrated change/automation mindset with experience improving processes or controls
- Knowledge of Excel macros or automation techniques to improve efficiency and quality
- Flexibility to work shifts and deliver effectively as part of a team-driven operating model
