Sanofi Global Hub (SGH) is an internal Sanofi resource organization based in India and is setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions.

As an Operational Change Management expert, you play a pivotal role in ensuring successful transformations and modernizations across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership position requiring cross-functional collaboration to ensure change adoption and efficacy while building transformation readiness throughout the organization. The key focus is on the people side of change, preparing, supporting, and equipping employees to adopt and use changes related to business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures across Sanofi R&D.

Key Expert Responsibilities Would Include

Lead Development and Implementation of Change Strategies:

  • Leverage a structured methodology to define and own the change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes utilizing the standard Sanofi Change Management playbook and approaches.
  • Build a trusted relationship with the Project/Program Manager and support him/her through the project/program as a credible voice on change management matters.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensuring their buy-in and support throughout the change process for complex initiatives involving multiples organizations and geographies.
  • Conduct in-depth change impact analyses, assessing organizational readiness across multiple dimensions (process, technology, culture, capability).
  • Design targeted and actionable change management plans based on deep diagnosis of impacted populations, their concerns, and resistance patterns.
  • Develop and execute robust communication strategies across all channels, tailoring messages for diverse audiences from frontline employees to leadership team.
  • Drive Adoption and Measure change Management effectiveness, define and track KPIs and success metrics for change adoption, utilization, and proficiency
  • Implement data-driven approaches to monitor adoption before, during, and after go-live
  • Develop and execute mitigation plans to address resistance and accelerate adoption. Ensure sustained adoption through structured hyper care and reinforcement strategies
  • Report on change effectiveness to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Lead the execution of the change management plans (including communication content creation)
  • Prepare, Present and communicate creative material with clarity, effectively selling ideas to a variety of internal stakeholders
  • Design, develop, deliver, and manage key communications across all channels and platforms and any other activities fostering adoption of the change. Pursue this support over the hypercare period to secure strong change adoption
  • Build, mobilize and manage a Change Agent Network across impacted business areas accountable for function-level adoption targets, structured user awareness and post-go-live adoption tracking
  • Mitigate Risks and Ensure Preparedness. Assess and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives. Ensure employees are adequately prepared for upcoming changes.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical R&D, with understanding of R&D, clinical development and regulatory environments
  • Strong knowledge and Experience in owning & leading Change Management (min 4 years), Communications and/or Marketing, in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Project management skills/experience is desired. Leadership & meeting presence to build quick trust & credibility
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to connect change initiatives to broader business objectives
  • Strong influencing skills without direct authority in a complex, matrixed environment: ability to engage stakeholders, manage expectations, and address concerns.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics. Proficiency in change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to deep dive to understand problems and business impacts and define solutions including implementation plans in a structured and constructive manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey change-related information effectively. Ability to create and edit communication content for use across all channels and platforms such as Intranet, Viva Engage, SharePoint… Content will include presentations, Newsletter, video, internal articles, story text etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to evaluate proposed changes and their implications. Capacity to identify risks, benefits, and potential obstacles.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively with teams, including R&D, quality, and regulatory affairs.
  • Agility and resilience to handle evolving priorities and frequent adjustments.Results-oriented mindset and autonomy with high level of proactivity and accountability
  • Excellent active listening skills, ability to see change through the eyes of those affected, enabling effective support and guidance during transitions
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Life Sciences, Business, Communication, Marketing or a related field,
  • Certification in change management required (e.g., Prosci, ACMP); Familiarities with artificial intelligence and its application in change management is a plus
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written in English. French is a plus.
