Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring testing processes, managing test execution, and resolving defects to maintain the integrity and reliability of software products. Collaboration across teams and continuous improvement of quality practices are key aspects of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies to ensure robust testing coverage.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with project goals.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
  
  
  

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Full Stack Development.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing techniques.
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Ability to design and implement end-to-end testing frameworks that support continuous integration and delivery.
• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex software systems to identify quality risks.
