Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate testing effectiveness, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of quality objectives with project goals.
  
  
  

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in TOSCA Testsuite.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and their implementation.
• Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
