YOUR IMPACT

Quality Assurance Developer is responsible for working on complex enterprise applications. This role is an individual contributor role and requires hands on experience in Manual/Automated testing. Person should be able to manage all end-to-end testing activities. He/She should be able to write test plans/strategy and should be able to execute it. He/She should be able to write automation framework from scratch and should be able to write test scripts.

What The Role Offers

This position is accountable for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Testing various OpenText applications developed using ABAP and Java/J2EE.
• Work as a QA specialist in developing test plans, test scripts and test cases that will effectively verify correct software operation.
• Conducts testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
• Should be able to create the test data on his own in the system.
• Documentation of various test scenarios and should be able develop various manuals.
• Ability to coordinate and carry on QA activities with a team of developers.
• Testing on cloud environment would be an advantage
• Creating and deploying VMWare virtual machines
• Understanding of web servers like IIS/Tomcat

What You Need To Succeed     

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3+ years of enterprise product testing experience
• Hands on experience in Manual and Automated testing
• Excellent in development and execution of test scripts
• Experience with defining test plans/charters
• Documenting test results and test reports
• Experience in SAP ECC, SAP S4/HANA is required
• Good knowledge of SAP MM, SAP Accounts Payable modules or Procure to Pay process
• Experience in SAP Vendor Invoice Mgmt. (VIM), is a plus
• Good understanding of REST/Soap API testing
• Experience with automated tools like Selenium or QTP is advantageous
• Understanding of automated frameworks & techniques like JBehave or Cucumber is advantageous
• Knowledge of performance & security testing
• Accessibility / Section 508
• Awareness of ABAP or any programming language would be plus
• Working knowledge in Agile/Scrum environment
• Good communication skills

Salary Range: $x - $x; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
