QAE 3

Overview:

The QAE 3 role is a senior-level Quality Assurance position responsible for leading test strategy, automation, and process improvements to ensure high-quality product releases. This role combines hands-on testing expertise with leadership in automation, defect prevention, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Case Design & Review: Write, review, and optimize manual and automated test cases to ensure completeness, consistency, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Bug Management & Troubleshooting: Lead defect triage, enforce severity and priority guidelines, and drive root cause analysis to minimize leakage and customer-reported issues.

Deployment & Production validation: Own QA sign-off for releases, coordinate go-live readiness with stakeholders, and perform or automate post-deployment sanity checks.

Automation & Framework Development: Enhance automation coverage, manage regression suites, improve execution time, and incorporate advanced validations into pipelines.

Quality Improvements: Reduce defect leakage, improve early defect detection, strengthen UAT processes, and implementing preventive quality measures across teams.

Tooling & Innovation: Expertise in Cucumber, TestNG frameworks and able to Create QA dashboards, assess and implement modern tools (including AI-based and security testing solutions), and improve frameworks for scalability and reliability.

Collaboration & Leadership: Mentor QA engineers, support hiring and onboarding, foster cross-functional partnerships with DevOps, Product, Security and Support team, and promote diversity in team building.

Documentation & Governance: Standardize test documentation templates, implement structured review cycles, and ensure alignment with business and engineering objectives.

Learning & Development: Facilitate cross-training in QA disciplines, enhance security testing knowledge, conduct soft-skill workshops, and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Strong expertise in manual and automated testing (API, UI, Integration).

Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks like TestNG and Cucumber, and observability tools.

Knowledge of security testing, monitoring, and defect prevention strategies.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Experience mentoring team members and enhancing of QA processes.
