Python Developer

A fast-moving organisation in the HR services and technical staffing sector, placing engineering talent with product companies and enterprise clients across India. We partner with technology teams building scalable web backends, data services, and cloud-native applications and are hiring on-site engineering talent to deliver production-grade Python systems.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end backend features by designing and implementing Python services using Django or Flask for on-site production deployments (India).
• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs, ensure database integration with PostgreSQL/MySQL, and optimise queries for performance and scalability.
• Containerise applications with Docker and integrate services into CI/CD pipelines using Git workflows.
• Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices for reliability and maintainability.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, profile bottlenecks, and implement monitoring/alerting to reduce incident recurrence.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and DevOps engineers to deliver features on aggressive release cadences.

• Proven track record building production Python applications and APIs; ability to share examples of deployed systems or code samples.
• On-site role in India — candidates must be available to work from client/office locations as required.
