Job Description

PTC Windchill Lead Data Migration Developer-) Bring 7+ years of hands-on PLM data migration experience, including at least two full end-to-end PTC Windchill PLM implementations with a strong focus on data migration (Mandate exp into Windchill Data Migrator)

• Develop and execute data migration solutions from Siemens Teamcenter to PTC Windchill, covering data extraction, transformation, and loading using custom ETL pipelines and PTC migration tools.
• Work extensively with Windchill Bulk Migrator, Info*Engine tasks, Java-based loaders, ESI, REST APIs, XML loaders, and automation scripts to implement scalable migration workflows.
• Build and maintain migration frameworks for Parts, Documents, CAD Data, BOM/MBOM structures, Change Objects, Configurations, and Lifecycles, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
• Create and maintain data mapping logic, error-handling routines, delta-load mechanisms, reconciliation scripts, and validation utilities for large-scale migration programs.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Data Migration Leads to ensure alignment with target Windchill object models, business rules, lifecycles, and access policies.
• Conduct migration unit tests, mock runs, performance tuning, and defect resolution across multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, Pre-Prod).
• Support cutover execution, post-migration issue remediation, optimization of migration throughput, and continuous improvement of migration toolchains.
