Job Description

Description

Do you have a passion for leading complex, cross-organizational programs that drive billions in business value? Are you looking for an opportunity to shape the future of Amazons science tools and programs? If yes, the Chorus team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to drive existing and develop new science partnerships across multiple orgs at Amazon.

Amazons ML teams face a significant challenge when expanding English-language models to multilingual systems: the cost and complexity of human annotation, evaluation, and language-specific customization scales linearly with each new language. Come to be part of the team who will make science across the globe easier!

Key job responsibilities

As a Sr. Program Manager on Chorus, you will drive multiple high-impact initiatives with multiple partners. This role will require you to dive deep into the projects milestones and goals, track progress, drive alignments, identify investment opportunities and improve partnership onboarding and CX. This position requires regular communication with senior leadership on status, risks, and tradeoffs to meet our strategic objectives as being comfortable discussing in depth with ML practitioners.

Cross-organizational influence, agile project management in resource-constrained environments, and executive presentation skills are essential. You will anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate risks across multi-year technical dependencies, and balance business needs against technical and science constraints.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience managing operations processes and engineering partnerships

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Masters degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
