About The Role And Team
As a Program Manager I, Tech within the GSS Risk Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in tackling complex challenges by bringing a software engineering and data-driven mindset to address emerging risks and technical operational hurdles.
A core focus of this position is building and scaling technical solutions to investigate fraud and abuse cases, identifying and analyzing architectural vulnerabilities and crafting automated solutions to combat and prevent fraudulent activity. You'll partner closely with the Engg and Product teams as a technical lead, ensuring that feedback loops are established to continuously refine and improve risk detection systems through code and algorithm optimizations.
In this role, creative problem-solving, marketplace risk and fraud knowledge, and an eye for detail will be essential. You will work cross-functionally, manage stakeholders effectively, and drive projects to meet timelines and budgetary constraints. Your contributions will help protect the platform, enhance user trust, and optimize Uber's overall approach to risk management.
