Role Overview
You will be part of the Network Operation Center (NOC) team, focusing on managing holiday and contingency planning to ensure smooth transportation execution and minimal customer impact during disruptions. The role demands strong program management skills, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to maintain Amazon’s high standards for customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Customer-Centric Planning: Understand stakeholder needs and translate them into project plans; drive consensus and process improvements.
Operational Escalation Management: Handle ground escalations quickly to minimize disruption and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
Configuration Deployment: Ensure timely and error-free deployment of holiday and contingency configurations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Organize meetings, share updates, and recommend mitigation strategies during disruptions.
Data-Driven Analysis: Use data to support decisions and improve network performance.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of program or project management experience
1.5+ years in Program/Operations management
Strong quantitative decision-making ability and experience driving business/operations metrics
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Leadership qualities with bias towards action and ownership
Experience in collaborative management environments
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
Experience with MS Access and SQL
Experience gathering and documenting clear business requirements
2-3 years of experience in operations, program management, consulting, or process improvement within e-commerce, FMCG, retail, or manufacturing
MBA or strong academic track record
Proven project management skills from initiation to completion
Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data
Excellent presentation and communication skills for senior leadership
Technical aptitude for web-based tools and proficiency in Excel/MS Office
