Job Purpose
The Program Advisory Coordinator is responsible for being the first point of contact for prospective students, validating their intent and eligibility, and ensuring they are guided efficiently to the right advisory support.
The role includes proactive outreach, information gathering, managing follow-up communication, and warm-transferring qualified prospects to Student Advisors.
This role plays a critical part in improving student engagement and conversion by ensuring Advisors focus on high quality, high intent leads.
Principal Responsibilities
Proactive outreach to prospective students via phone, email, and messaging tools, connecting with up to 100 students per day.
Conducting qualification checks to validate citizenship, residency, course eligibility, and interest level.
Applying a defined outreach cadence (calls, emails, SMS) and maintaining SLA compliance on your assigned prospective students to ensure all prospective students receive timely follow-up.
Accurately logging call outcomes and disposition details in Salesforce.
Warm transferring qualified students to the next available Student Advisor.
Maintaining a high level of data quality and strictly following communication compliance guidelines.
Supporting continuous improvement to enhance conversion performance and student experience.
Meeting and achieving Key Performance Indicators as set by leadership, including but not limited to: speed to contact, volume of calls, and conversion rate to enrolment.
Collaboration with other teams as needed to deliver high-quality service to our prospective students.
Ensuring that all activities adhere to institutional policies, industry regulations, and the highest ethical standards.
Desired Profile
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Any certification in consultative selling or sales.
Skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, meeting a minimum of CEFR C1.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Adept at using virtual communication tools, including email and phone.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant Experience
1 - 2 years of relevant experience.
Prior experience in student admissions or educational counselling is an advantage. Experience with overseas institutes/immigration will be preferred.
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM); the Salesforce system is a plus.
Proven customer service skills and an excellent communicator.
Outstanding administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver against several priorities.
Excellent presentation skills, with accuracy, attention to detail, and a methodical approach.
Other Information
Please note this position is only available on our consultancy agreement.
The post holder will be asked to undertake different or additional duties in line with business requirements at the request of their line manager.
