This Product Manager II role sits at the heart of Microsofts AI strategy, where you will translate breakthrough AI capabilities into intuitive product experiences that feel magical yet trustworthy. Youll work closely with AI researchers, engineers, designers, and partner teams to build products that dont just use AI but theyre designed AI-first from the ground up.

Responsibilities
- Develop deep understanding of the business, our customers, and the competitive landscape through market and customer research.
- Mine product telemetry, usage funnels, and customer feedback to surface high-leverage opportunities and measure whats actually working.
- Use data, customer and competitive insights to define and execute the roadmap for intelligent AI experiences across Microsoft 365, focusing on AI-native workflows that amplify human capabilities rather than simply automating existing tasks.
- Establish new interaction paradigms for human-AI collaboration in productivity scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with AI researchers, engineering, design and partner teams to build and ship AI experiences at scale that are responsive, contextual, and deeply integrated into user workflows.
- Move fast while respecting the guardrails: balance rapid experimentation with Microsofts commitments to responsible AI, enterprise trust, and compliance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years product management shipping 0 to 1 and V1 products at scale.
- Strong product intuition with a user-first and business mindset.
- Scientific, i.e., hypothesis, experimentation and evidence driven. Expert at defining success metrics, running experiments, and translating data into product decisions.
- Clear, concise communicator who can align engineers on specs, present trade-offs to leadership, and rally cross-functional partners around a shared goal.
- Strong technical fluency in system design, APIs, data flows, and MLOps enough to partner effectively with research and engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- Experience with building AI-first products including model selection, evals, etc.
- Familiarity of Microsoft AI and data platforms including Azure Foundry, Microsoft Graph, or similar AI platforms.
