The Role
As a Process Designer Level I with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
To support the execution of process design and drafting activities in line with Worley standards and project requirements. The role involves assisting engineers and designers in developing high-quality design deliverables, while building competency in process design tools, systems, and workflows.
Prepare and deliver process design drawings and documentation as per project requirements.
Back-draft drawings based on mark-ups provided by Engineers and Senior Designers.
Assist in developing conceptual layouts and basic engineering diagrams.
Generate drawings using 3D intelligent modeling tools and databases.
Perform self-checking of drawings to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
Support preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
Maintain and organize project drawings, files, and records.
Adhere to Worley quality standards, procedures, and design practices.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Diploma / Degree in Engineering Technology (Chemical / Process or relevant discipline).
Recognized design qualification or equivalent.
Understanding of discipline-specific engineering standards, codes, and design practices.
Familiarity with process design documentation and its role in project execution.
Basic knowledge of relevant drafting standards (e.g., AS1100 or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD / MicroStation / SmartPlant P&ID (SPP&ID).
Exposure to 3D modeling tools / databases.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of drawing office deliverables and workflows.
Exposure to offshore oil & gas / EPC projects.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments.
