The Role

As a Process Designer Level I with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

  • To support the execution of process design and drafting activities in line with Worley standards and project requirements. The role involves assisting engineers and designers in developing high-quality design deliverables, while building competency in process design tools, systems, and workflows.
  • Prepare and deliver process design drawings and documentation as per project requirements.
  • Back-draft drawings based on mark-ups provided by Engineers and Senior Designers.
  • Assist in developing conceptual layouts and basic engineering diagrams.
  • Generate drawings using 3D intelligent modeling tools and databases.
  • Perform self-checking of drawings to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
  • Support preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
  • Maintain and organize project drawings, files, and records.
  • Adhere to Worley quality standards, procedures, and design practices.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering Technology (Chemical / Process or relevant discipline).
  • Recognized design qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of discipline-specific engineering standards, codes, and design practices.
  • Familiarity with process design documentation and its role in project execution.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant drafting standards (e.g., AS1100 or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD / MicroStation / SmartPlant P&ID (SPP&ID).
  • Exposure to 3D modeling tools / databases.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of drawing office deliverables and workflows.
  • Exposure to offshore oil & gas / EPC projects.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments.
