Principal Network Engineer Real Time Markets

A great opportunity to join a fast paced, global company working with the newest technology designing and building networks and related services for some of LSEGs most popular products.

The role calls for an expert engineer with a background in venue and exchange feeds, market data distribution and low latency trading platforms.

You will have a demonstrable background in financial services and experience with both Cisco and Arista low latency trading platforms, Firewalls, PTP, DNS and in depth knowledge of network fabrics using multicast, advanced routing and a fascination for observability and telemetry.

Working with tools such as packet capture devices, having the ability to interpret network traces and using products such as Corvil will be a tremendous advantage.

Previous roles working in environments such as carrier hotels and colocation centres, their uses andways of working is another huge advantage.

Joining a phenomenal, friendly distributed team based across four locations working closely with developers, application owners and business customers to produce best of breed products. We pride ourselves on our people, their skills and aid their development through in house and external training.

The role itself is a real mixture, were going through technical refresh, accelerating our use of cloud computing, looking at our presence in many more global locations and working ever more closely to deliver product based solutions !

A real must is experience within network automation, python coding, pipelines, GIT and working to Dev/Ops principles will be part of your day to day job. We operate in small squads where there is never a wrong answer and everyones input is valued.
