The Impact You Will Have In This Role

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with experience to design, develop, and maintain impactful dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and SQL, along with exposure to cloud-based data platforms. This role requires close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance reporting solutions.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Build and optimize data models (star/snowflake schemas) to support analytical and reporting requirements.
• Develop efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational and cloud-based sources.
• Implement and manage Power BI datasets, reports, dashboards, and workspaces.
• Monitor and improve report performance, optimizing queries, data models, and visualizations
• Perform Power BI administration tasks, including:
• User access management and role-based security (RLS).
• Dataset refreshes scheduling and monitoring. Gateway setup and maintenance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, data quality, and data security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, datasets, and data refreshes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and end-user guides.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of related experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  
  

Talents Needed For Success

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or similar).
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema).
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data.
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and data pipelines supporting BI solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, etc.).
• Familiarity with DAX and Power Query (M language).
• Exposure to data governance and reporting standards.
• Experience in performance tuning and large dataset handling.
• Understanding of business intelligence best practices and visualization design
