Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Piping Designer with strong expertise in SP3D to support the design and layout of piping systems for onshore and offshore oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working in leading EPC firms such as Worley, KBR, Technip, or similar, and will play a key role in project execution from concept to detailed design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D piping models using SP3D in compliance with project specifications.
• Generate and review piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
• Ensure clash-free designs by coordinating with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical).
• Interpret P&IDs, piping specifications, and material classes.
• Participate in model reviews and ensure design meets safety, accessibility, and maintenance requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and drafters.
• Support site and construction teams with design clarifications when needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in piping design, with at least 3+ years using SP3D.
• Experience working on both onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.
• Strong understanding of piping components, supports, and layout best practices.
• Familiarity with international design codes and EPC work processes.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work experience with EPC firms like Worley, KBR, Technip, McDermott, Wood, or Petrofac.
• Exposure to brownfield (revamp) projects and offshore platforms.
• Knowledge of other design tools like MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Navisworks is a plus.
