What You’ll Do

• Finetune deep learning models across NLP, ASR/STT, TTS, and dialog systems for production-grade voice agents.
• Enhance model quality, grounding, and reliability through dataset design, supervised finetuning, domain adaptation, and reinforcement/evaluation loops.
• Optimize inference pipelines for latency, throughput, cost, and stability in real-time voice interactions.
• Evaluate and benchmark models (LLMs, speech models, VAD, EOT, embeddings) to determine the best architecture or provider for each use case.
• Develop internal tools for dataset curation, training workflows, automated evaluations, and model performance dashboards.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to transition new agentic capabilities from research to prototype to production.
  
  

Work Experience

What You’ve Done:

• 2+ years of experience in ML engineering or applied deep learning.
• Good to have hands-on experience finetuning LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, etc.) and speech models (Whisper, Deepgram, Cartesia, Elevenlabs, NeMo, wav2vec, etc.).
• Experience training or adapting models for real-time use cases, including latency budgets and streaming inference.
• Python, PyTorch, data pipelines, and GPU-based training workflows.
• Experience integrating ML models into live, user-facing applications.
• Solid fundamentals in distributed systems, performance optimization, and scaling inference services.
• Comfort in cloud environments (AWS preferred) and containerized ML deployment workflows
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
