Role Overview

We are hiring VFX Paint & Prep Artists at Junior, Mid, and Senior levels. Candidates should have Minimum 1 year of experience, depending on the role. Responsibilities include removing unwanted elements from footage, matching lighting, and texture for seamless integration, and performing digital painting tasks with pixel-perfect accuracy. The role involves quality control, handling complex prep work, and delivering work in specified formats.

Responsibilities

Remove unwanted elements (e.g., track marks, wires, rigs) from live-action footage or CG renders using digital painting techniques.

Match lighting, texture, and color of painted areas to surrounding elements for seamless integration.

Analyse shots to determine required painting areas and address missing or problematic frames.

Ensure pixel-perfect paintwork, matching motion blur, focus, and defocus across sequences.

Perform quality control checks to ensure output is jitter-free and maintains grain and consistency.

Denoise footage, apply grading and color correction, and handle background blending and edge blending.

Utilize scan pixels, create new plates if needed, and perform camera depth and 3D projections.

Communicate with team leads and provide daily progress updates.

Deliver work in required formats, resolution, and bit depth, adhering to project specifications, and maintaining organized file structures.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in VFX or related field.
