Role Overview

We are hiring Mid-Level VFX Paint & Prep Artists with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The role

involves removing unwanted elements from footage, matching lighting and texture for seamless

integration, and executing digital paint work with pixel-level accuracy. Candidates should be skilled

in clean plate creation, handling complex prep tasks like denoising and stabilization, and ensuring

high-quality, consistent output as per delivery specifications.

Responsibilities

• Remove unwanted elements such as wires, rigs, markers, shadows, and reflections from footage using frame-by-frame or procedural paint techniques.
• Create clean plates to support compositing and seamless background reconstruction.
• Eliminate dust, scratches, and artifacts while preserving detail and continuity.
• Match grain, color, lighting, and depth of field to ensure seamless patching across frames.
• Apply denoising and stabilization techniques to prepare footage for compositing or tracking.
• Clean edges around roto mattes and prep backgrounds for smooth integration.
• Use scan data and pixel information to support 2D/3D projection and camera tracking workflows.
• Perform quality control checks to identify jitter, mismatches, and inconsistencies in painted frames.
• Maintain consistency in motion blur, lighting, and focus across shots.
• Organize files and follow proper naming conventions and pipeline standards.
• Collaborate with compositing and roto teams to understand shot requirements and deliver accurate results.
• Provide regular updates on task progress and ensure timely delivery of assigned shots.
• Work efficiently with tools such as Fusion, Mocha, Silhouette, and Photoshop.

• Diploma or Degree in VFX or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Showreel or portfolio showcasing relevant work.
