The MDM & Business Data Quality Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, consistency and accuracy of master data across the enterprise. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical execution by managing the Master Data Management (MDM) tool and leading data quality initiatives aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will work closely with business units, data stewards and IT Teams to drive effective data governance and improve overall data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the Master Data Management (MDM) tool, including configuration, user access and workflow optimization
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data quality requirements and translate them into actionable improvements.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and lead initiatives to identify and resolve data quality issues impacting business processes
  • Assist in designing and implementing data validation and cleansing processes within the MDM platform.
  • Support data governance efforts by ensuring compliance with data standards, policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to MDM tool usage, data quality processes and governance policies.
  • Provide training and support to business users on MDM tool functionalities and data quality best practices.
  • Work with IT and data teams to coordinate data integration and synchronization activities.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate data quality standards and rends to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Master Data Management operations (MDM) operations or data quality roles.
  • Hands on experience with MDM tools/platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM)
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools to investigate data quality issues
  • Excellent communication, able to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience with business process analysis and requirements gathering is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance is beneficial.

Preferred

  • Certification in Data Management or Data quality
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI)
  • Experience in Agile project environments.
