Amazon is seeking Operation Manager for our RAD (Rapid Asset Deployment) center. The Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) is the manufacturing and fulfillment operations arm. We are responsible for provisioning, IT Builds, warehousing, fulfillment, repair (RMA), and liquidation, and more. In this role, you will lead a team and will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your team and workforce
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
  • Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
  • Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree in operations, supply chain or logistics, or 1+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • - 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of people management leading teams of 20 experience, or experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
