Designation: Marketing Manager


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Business Development

  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in existing and emerging segments across both states.
  • Develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned with sales and brand-building objectives for each product sub-division.
  • Drive innovative business development initiatives to enhance market share, dealer loyalty, and brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create region-specific campaigns based on local market dynamics and competitor insights.
  • Support product launches by designing and executing effective go-to-market strategies.

Branding & Promotions

  • Plan and manage ATL, BTL, and TTL activities, including dealer meets, influencer engagements (masons, contractors, fabricators), roadshows, and local exhibitions.
  • Ensure adherence to Tata Steel brand guidelines while tailoring campaigns for regional effectiveness.
  • Enhance retail visibility through shop branding, wall paintings, hoardings, POS materials, and other innovative on-ground initiatives.

Digital Marketing & Content Strategy

  • Manage digital marketing efforts such as social media campaigns, WhatsApp marketing, dealer communication platforms, and content creation with regional influencers.
  • Develop content strategies to drive product awareness, brand recall, and engagement, particularly in semi-urban and rural markets.

Vendor Management

  • Identify, empanel, and manage vendors for printing, branding, events, digital media, and creative services.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensure cost efficiency, and supervise timely delivery of all marketing materials.
  • Regularly evaluate vendor performance to uphold quality standards.

Marketing Material Warehousing & Logistics

  • Oversee warehousing, inventory management, and distribution of marketing materials across regions.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to dealer outlets, events, and promotions.
  • Optimize logistics costs through efficient route planning and vendor coordination.

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Prepare and manage annual marketing budgets in alignment with business goals.
  • Track campaign performance, analyse ROI, and present periodic reports with actionable insights.
  • Maintain detailed trackers for campaigns, vendor performance, and financial utilization.


Academic Qualifications

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or equivalent from a reputed institution (preferred).


Work Experience

  • 7–10 years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in steel, building materials, cement, paints, or related industries is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in campaign execution, vendor management, and market development.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Market share growth across product categories.
  • ROI on ATL/BTL/TTL marketing activities.
  • Dealer engagement and satisfaction levels.
  • Reduction in marketing logistics and operational costs.
  • Brand visibility metrics (reach, impressions, dealer coverage).
  • Successful product launches and promotional outcomes.
