Provides leadership and oversight to the Software Quality Engineering group. Monitors reliability and performance of the various components of DN software and networks. Responsible for integrating applications into monitoring solutions and building and maintaining a functional test framework. Analyzes and conducts thorough quality-control tests to ensure that software operates properly, is defect-free, and meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Documents and works to resolve all problems, and reports progress on problem resolution to leadership. Drives continual process improvements in the evolution of testing procedures for future replication. Works with customers and applies customer feedback to drive product improvement through the development process.
Responsibilities
� Provides direction to a small team of SW Quality engineers.
� Identifies and manages implementation of test plans and test cases based on leading edge techniques and statistical evaluation.
� Manages all aspects of both functional and performance testing, ensuring developed software meets design specifications and achieves end user performance objectives.
� Coordinates understanding of test requirements with Product, Development Engineering, Software Development and other relevant managers and production teams.
� Guides team on usage of test management and tracking software.
� Reviews and resolves application, product, software and other quality control problems / concerns reported by customers, test personnel or other production or software development personnel.
� Periodically reviews completed test execution steps, forms and documents for conformance with prescribed SW Quality standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Typically has 6-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and typically 0-2 years leadership experience.
Fluent business English skills (Written and spoken).
