Lead Service Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade WordPress solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance for business-critical web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and features
• Manage website architecture, performance tuning, and optimization
• Implement security best practices, updates, and compliance controls
• Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers
• Ensure SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility
• Support deployment, release management, and production troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in web/WordPress development
• Strong expertise in PHP, WordPress CMS, MySQL
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
• Experience with plugin development and customization
• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and hosting models
• Knowledge of security best practices for web applications

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SEO optimization and analytics tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Exposure to headless CMS or microservices architecture
