As part of the Supply Chain Innovation team, you will play a pivotal role in building end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Apple’s Supply Chain needs, ranging from Supply Planning and Demand Planning to Product Distribution and beyond. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to define and implement solutions that optimize Apple’s internal business processes.

This role will have a direct impact on Apple’s business, requiring interaction with various internal teams to deliver cutting-edge products in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize highly scalable, distributed systems, leveraging cloud-native technologies and micro services architecture to build robust and resilient solutions.
Lead proof-of-concept projects and pilot implementations to showcase new ideas.
Strive for excellence by continuously seeking ways to enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
Contribute to design and code reviews, and assist in debugging and resolving issues.
Contribute to solution and architectural design reviews.
Develop system components and take full responsibility for the timely delivery, quality, and performance of the team’s work.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, support teams, and end users.
Lead, mentor, and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Tackle complex technical challenges, drive innovation, and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies.
Ability to successfully manage and collaborate with contractors.
Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
Team lead experience is a plus. Occasionally, will need to handle application production (warranty) support.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of professional experience in data engineering, database design, or software development
5+ years of experience in data engineering, backend development, or database design.
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Neo4j (designing graph models, writing Cypher queries, performance tuning).
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with APIs, Microservices, and data integration frameworks.
Understanding of graph theory concepts — nodes, relationships, traversals, and centrality algorithms.
Familiarity with Neo4j Bloom, GraphQL for Neo4j, or GDS (Graph Data Science) library.
Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and NoSQL/SQL databases.
Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to supply chain, product lifecycle, or recommendation systems.
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
Experience with graph analytics, ML integrations, or knowledge graphs.
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or custom dashboards).
AI/ML-related experience is a plus.
A strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering and RAG.
Experience in developing applications for the Supply Chain business domain is a plus.
Experience in leading and mentoring engineers.
