Lead Consultant Project Manager

We're seeking a highly capable professional to lead client engagements, assess current-state environments, and develop strategic recommendations that deliver real business value.

In this consulting-focused role, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to analyse IT services, infrastructure, and operating models while helping shape future-state solutions through detailed assessments, commercial modelling, and executive-level presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure assessment engagements across business and service towers.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather business and technical requirements.
• Perform IT service catalogue mapping and current-state analysis.
• Validate infrastructure inventories and assess existing environments.
• Review and benchmark Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Analyse IT cost structures and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Develop multi-year Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models.
• Build commercial pricing models including fixed, variable, and outcome-based pricing.
• Define transition plans, timelines, and key project milestones.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage dependencies.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and recommendations.

About You

You are a confident consultant with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate technical assessments into commercial and strategic outcomes. You enjoy working directly with clients, facilitating workshops, and delivering high-quality consulting engagements.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years' experience in IT consulting, project management, or infrastructure consulting.
• Demonstrated experience estimating IT services and supporting consulting engagements.
• Strong experience conducting stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering.
• Knowledge of IT service catalogue mapping and infrastructure assessments.
• Experience reviewing SLAs and analysing IT operating cost structures.
• Proven ability to develop Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models.
• Experience designing commercial pricing structures (fixed, variable, and outcome-based models).
• Strong understanding of transition planning, project milestones, and delivery frameworks.
• Experience performing risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
