Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL & Reporting Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, and Reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building database tables, managing data flows, and developing enterprise-level reporting solutions. Strong domain knowledge in Retail Banking, Lending, and Depository services is mandatory, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases, including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and functions.
• Build and optimize SSRS reports, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting solutions to meet business requirements.
• Develop and manage SSAS cubes (Tabular or Multidimensional) for analytical and reporting needs.
• Ensure efficient data flow across systems, validating data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
• Translate business requirements into technical reporting and data models.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and application teams to deliver high-quality reporting outputs.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory data standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
• Mentor junior team members and conduct reviews for SQL and reporting best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Technical Skills:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong expertise in SQL (T-SQL) – complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions
• Proven experience in SSRS report development (parameterized, drill-down, drill-through reports)
• Hands-on experience with SSAS (Tabular / Cube design, measures, KPIs)
• Strong experience in data modeling, table design, and schema architecture
• Experience in handling ETL / data flow concepts
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience with large datasets and enterprise data environments
