Software Engineer – Payments & AI

Role Summary
We are looking for a strong Java developer with expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, and Payments (GPP) who can also leverage Python and Generative AI technologies to build innovative AI-powered capabilities for our Payments product. This role combines deep product knowledge with modern AI development.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and contribute to the GPP Payments product architecture and business workflows.
• Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Build and maintain backend services, integrations, and messaging solutions.
• Develop AI-powered use cases using Python, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI frameworks.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing Payments products to improve productivity, automation, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and business teams to identify and implement high-value AI opportunities.
• Follow SDLC best practices, coding standards, CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in: 
  • Java, J2EE, Core Java
  • Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
  • Hibernate, JPA
  • REST APIs & Microservices
  • SQL, Kafka, MQ/JMS
  • Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito
• Strong understanding of Payments/GPP domain.
• Good programming experience in Python.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, LangChain, RAG, Vector Databases, and AI Agents.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and Azure/AWS/GCP.

Preferred

• Hands-on experience delivering AI use cases in enterprise products.
• Knowledge of Semantic Search, Embeddings, and Vector Databases.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
