Job Summary:**

Seeking an experienced IT Applications Development Professional to design, develop, and implement robust software solutions for Hitachi, Ltd. This role focuses on enhancing existing applications and building new ones to support business operations and innovation.

Job Responsibilities:**

• Lead the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications and functional designs.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure applications using various programming languages and technologies.
• Conduct thorough unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application functionality and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application within Hitachi.
• Document technical designs, development processes, and user guides.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in IT applications development.
• Proven expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
