Information Developer

The Information Developer role will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering high-quality video content to support enablement of Infor OS and related applications, training, and educational initiatives. This role requires a creative and technically skilled individual proficient in using screen recording and voice-over software to produce video tutorials, training materials, and content that may include screen captures, annotations, and interactivity elements.

Experience: 2-4 years

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and produce video content for a variety of purposes, including training modules, presentations, and internal communications.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand project requirements and ensure that content is accurate, relevant, and engaging.
• Edit raw video footage, add effects, transitions, captions, and other multimedia elements to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of the content.
• Manage video projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines and standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in video production and e-learning technologies to continually enhance content quality.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all video content is accessible, error-free, and optimized for various platforms and devices.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a video content library for easy access and reuse across the organization.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience with video-editing software such as Camtasia, Murf, Articulate, and a strong portfolio showcasing video production and editing skills for internal training and enablement purposes.
• Bachelors degree in Multimedia, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of video formats, compression techniques, and best practices for digital media.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of additional multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Apple Pro (Final Cut) is a plus.
• Experience in instructional design or educational content development is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI).
• Knowledge of whiteboard animation and related toolsets (Adobe Animate, Doodly) for creating educational and training content
