Job Description

The Software Architect partners across development teams to design and build the core architecture that powers isolveds products. This role requires systems-level thinking, with the ability to see the full picture and make thoughtful tradeoffs.

Youll design reusable components and scalable patterns, with a strong understanding of distributed systems, hosting models, and failure scenarios. You bring sound judgment around architectural approaches, knowing when to apply specific patterns and when to avoid unnecessary complexity.

Core Job Duties

Provide architectural guidance to multiple development teams as they drive projects from inception to production deployment with a strong focus on performance and quality. Establish, document, and implement the guidance and best practices that make up the isolved coding standards.

Perform code reviews to give developers feedback on their work and ensure high-quality standards are being met. Assist in tracking down production issues and responding to support cases. Review and identify performance issues, provide direction and strategies for resolving them

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years developing web applications
• 2+ years developing cloud-native applications.
• Ability to work independently to research and solve complex problems.
• Strong Technical Knowledge and Experience with:
• Azure, Microservice Architecture, C#, SQL, Unit Testing, .NET / ASP.NET Core WebAPI, Javascript, SOLID principles
  

Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)

• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with pub/sub and asynchronous messaging patterns
• Hands-on experience with Docker
• Understanding of MVVM architecture
