Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer designs and implements complex functionality while serving as a technical leader within the team. Youll provide guidance and mentorship to other developers and act as a subject matter expert within your application area.

Working in an agile environment, youll contribute to backlog grooming, estimation, and delivery. Youre accountable for ensuring solutions meet quality standards, are fully functional, and deliver a strong user experience.

Core Job Duties

• Develop and maintain user interface controls, business logic, and SQL Server stored procedures
• Participate on agile team to estimate and groom backlog items, plan development activities, and improve the development process
• Develop functionality using the iSolved coding standards
• Work with business analysts to clarify requirements and debug problems
• Investigate third-level support requests.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in web application and services development
• 7–10+ years of experience building large-scale enterprise or e-business systems
• Strong ability to design and implement complex, scalable functionality
• Proven experience mentoring and supporting other developers
• Proficiency with Azure, microservices architecture, C#, SQL, .NET, unit testing, JavaScript, and HTML
• Experience with modern frameworks and patterns such as Knockout or Angular
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of pub/sub and asynchronous messaging patterns
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Familiarity with MVVM architecture
• Experience working with large, complex systems (500+ database tables) is a plus
• Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to continuously learn and grow
