Position: Sr. Officer / Executive

Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with approved vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) as per company procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, QA, QC, and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Support vendor qualification and periodic supplier performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, purchase reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification and timely supplier payments.
• Follow up on material shortages, delayed deliveries, and supplier-related issues.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  
  

• 2–5 years of experience in Raw Material Procurement/Purchase, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Basic knowledge of procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials.
• Basic working knowledge of SAP.
• Good vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
