Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GPP Consultant with strong expertise in Global PAYplus (GPP) 4.6/5.0 and end-to-end payments transformation. The candidate should have hands-on experience in GPP business configuration, payment flows, requirement gathering, implementation, defect triage, and testing, along with strong technical knowledge of Oracle 11g, UNIX, PL/SQL, GPP Reporting, and Scripting.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into GPP configurations and payment solutions.
• Perform GPP business configuration based on client requirements.
• Create and maintain:
• Static data
• Business profiles
• Business rules
• Rule usage and rule-to-profile linkages
• Message Refinement configurations
• GPP access control and security setup
• Work on end-to-end payment processing flows, including:
• High-Value Payments
• Low-Value Payments
• Real-Time Payments (RTP)
• ACH Payments
• Work extensively with payment message attributes, Logical Fields, and Logical Fields XPath.
• Configure business profiles including Offices, Accounts, Parties, NCC, and MOP.
• Implement and maintain Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) for domestic and correspondent banks.
• Analyze GPP trace logs to identify root causes of production and testing issues.
• Assess the impact of configuration changes on existing payment processing.
• Implement configuration fixes and perform unit testing to ensure stable and accurate functionality.
• Collaborate with business, technical, and testing teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 7–9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on GPP experience.
• Strong understanding of banking and payments domain.
• Experience in end-to-end GPP implementation and configuration.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
