Join our global supply chain team to drive the development and rollout of standardized planning and scheduling processes across Lonza’s international platforms. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the tools and systems that ensure our manufacturing platforms run smoothly and efficiently.
This is an office‑first role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).

What you will do:
Drive Global Standardization: Support the deployment of Supply Planning and Scheduling processes, tools, and data structures across global platforms and sites as a part of the Integrated Supply Chain Planning initiative.
Design Systems Excellence: Design and optimize system functionalities to enable robust planning processes within key global supply chain projects.
Collaborate Across Networks: Partner with cross-functional global stakeholders to configure, localize, and align global standard solutions with specific business needs and sites.
Empower Regional Teams: Develop comprehensive training modules and documentation for planning processes, delivering hands-on training to local teams and key users.
Lead Continuous Improvement: Identify operational process gaps and support strategic initiatives to ensure planning systems contribute to division-wide continuous improvement.
Deliver Strategic Insights: Analyze global supply chain data structures to uncover key operational insights that enhance executive decision-making and overall supply efficiency.
What we are looking for:
Experience: 5–10 years of solid experience in supply chain planning, with a proven track record of managing global projects and cross-functional collaborations.
Technical System Expertise: Strong hands-on SAP experience coupled with expertise in at least one advanced planning system such as OMP, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or SAP APO (preference given to OMP).
Education: A background centered around a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Training & Deployment Capability: Demonstrated ability to build technical process documentation, create roll-out packages, and confidently deliver training to diverse teams.
Agile Mindset: A proactive, quick learner who adapts rapidly to new systems and is eager to champion process improvement.
Sector Knowledge (Preferred): Experience working within the Life Sciences or FMCG sectors is highly advantageous.
