Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Lead design and implementation of Mechanical & Electrical works for Commercial Properties across Aerocity with high level of operational efficiency, without compromising on safety, quality, time & cost.

Head Mechanical & Electrical works for Commercial Properties across Aerocity thereby responsible for Design management, Procurement & Construction implementation and handing over to Operation team with high level of operational efficiency, without compromising

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accontabilities	Key Performance Indicators
Design Management: To ensure completion of designs for expansion from conceptual stage to detailed designs by coordinating with user departments, consultants and other stake holders of the Project.	Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, satisfying all stake holder requirements.
Procurement Management: Coordinate and assist procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs in tendering, vendor evaluation and vendor finalization.	In time Procurement, finalization of capable contractor / Vendor. Project Quality compliance
Construction Management: Under the guidance of the Project Head, coordinate and ensure the implementation of the Electro-Mechanical works with compliance to the Design and requirements of the clientele.	Completion time (within time), Quality compliance, Safety, Health and Environment compliance. Stakeholder satisfaction
Handing over and Contract Closure: Handover completed project to operation team with required documentation, Hand hold the operation team in initial period to stabilize the operation. Post operation stabilization; assist Procurement and Contracts team to close the all project related contracts with all required backup data.	Acceptance by operation team, stabilization of system for maximum output as per the project specifications, contract closures.

Compliance: Health Safety environment and regulatory compliances - Assist and work with the management for the effective deployment of the safety policy and achievement of the safety objectives and targets /goals.	Zero Non Compliances
Employee Engagement: Guide and support team for successful implementation of related works. Identify and Coach the team member on their short comings in handling the related works successfully. Develop the team work and relationships. Do the succession planning	Employee engagement scores.
Capability building for team members through training and review of their work.	Continuous process.
Special assignments (special time bound tasks from Senior management, Sector team related to ALD, engagements with internal and external stakeholders etc)	Completion within defined timelines

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
Interact with stake holders of the projects to understand their requirements and educate them on particular systems.
Interact with Government statutory agencies like Local Fire Authority, Central Electrical Authority, State Electricity Authority, Pollution control board, Municipal corporations, Factory Inspectorates for certifications
Interact with external consultants, Vendors / contractors for design & smooth execution of the project.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
Interacts with other departments for efficient coordination of works
Interact with individual team members to understand their strength and weakness and guide them
Interact with Senior Management to apprise them about the progress of works.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Target 0% cost variation.

Will handle work over 100 - 150 Cr.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

BE (Mechanical / Electrical).

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Job profile requires Minimum of 14 to 15 Years of relevant and 20 + years of total experience in Design and Project Management
Familiarity in the use of project management tools, methods, processes and techniques.
Knowledge on Auto-CAD / 3D BIM Modelling / Piping Software / etc
