Head of BSA (Business Supply Area )
Part of the Limagrain Field Seeds (LFS) Leadership Team
Propose the road map for the BSA to deliver LFS Ambition 2030,
Propose and manage the BSA organization, drive the BSA to deliver expected results as defined in the annual budget and medium-to-long-term plan for the BSA.
The key responsibilities will involve fully overseeing and managing all activities and operations in all the countries of the BSA. This scope includes commercial operations, seed production, supply chain, and administrative teams dedicated to BSA.
With BSA Head of Finance, measure and steer the financial and business performances, in contribution to LFS
The Head of BSA also ensures an efficient and active interface with the Research teams and LFS support functions.

Job Description
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth: Define and execute the BSA strategy in alignment with LFS Ambition 2030, covering sales, go-to-market, production and supply chain. Drive profitable growth, market share expansion and long-term business development by identifying opportunities, monitoring market and competitor trends, anticipating changes by geography and crop, and ensuring close collaboration with LFS support functions including Research, Strategic Marketing, Finance and HR.
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day BSA operations to ensure efficiency, profitability and service excellence. Optimize supply chain, customer service and logistics, while driving cross-functional coordination, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Financial Oversight: Manage financial and business performance, including budgets, forecasts, financial plans, revenue, profitability, cost control and key KPIs. Analyze performance regularly and implement corrective actions where required to contribute to LFS profitability.
People Management & Development: Build, lead and develop a high-performing BSA leadership team. Set clear goals, review performance, coach teams, strengthen engagement and retention, support succession planning and talent development, and promote Limagrain’s values, Principles of Action and an inclusive culture aligned with LFS Ambition 2030.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with customers, partners, internal stakeholders and the global LFS leadership team. Represent the company externally and ensure effective communication, collaboration and coordination across the BSA organization.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure operations comply with applicable laws, regulations and company policies, while managing financial, operational and market-related risks to safeguard the business.
Entrepreneurial Leadership: Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach to problem-solving, decision-making and team support.
EDUCATION
Master’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Management or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Work Experience
Minimum 10+ years of senior leadership experience, ideally within BSA or a comparable multi-country business environment.
Proven track record in driving business growth, profitability and performance in complex, competitive markets.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, including operations, sales, finance and support functions.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance, general management practices, performance management and P&L responsibility.
