General Maintenance Technician

Novotel Hyderabad Airport designed to help guests find their way around easily is built on simplicity and elegance and well positioned near the new international airport.  The hotel features 290 rooms and suites in the Premier Floor with WiFi access, along with a restaurant, a bar, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and meeting rooms accommodating up to 400 guests covering a total area of 7 acres. Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering Supervisor & Assistant Engineer in maintenance and care of all the equipment.
• Maintain quality of work in order to meet the standards.
• To control and check all the equipment.
• Ensure to work according to the policies and procedures of the hotel.
• Ensure to handle and maintain all equipment’s properly.
• Any matter which may effect the interests of Novotel Hyderabad Airport should be brought to the attention of the Management.
• To abide by the mission statement of the Company and of the department.

Engineering Planning

• Assist the Chief Engineer to identify the major facilities and equipment requirements for the department and the property.
• Ensure correct maintenance of all equipment in conjunction with the other user departments & stay abreast of technological advances in surveillance & safety of equipment.

  Operational Management

   

• Maintain all the equipment as per the specified standards.
• Maintain all tools and equipment as required.
• Assist other departmental personnel as necessary.
• Ensure to complete all the tasks assigned in an effective and efficient manner.
• Ensure to practice Safety in all aspects of the job.

Knowledge and Experience

• ITI in HVAC/Fitter
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Facility management or Hotels
• Good reading and oral proficiency in English language
