Role Overview
The Dynatrace Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing Dynatrace monitoring solutions across banking applications and infrastructure environments.
This role ensures high availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical banking platforms while maintaining strict security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Dynatrace SaaS and Managed environments for enterprise banking applications.
Install, configure, and upgrade Dynatrace OneAgent across servers, containers, and cloud platforms.
Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, and user experience (APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, RUM).
Configure dashboards, alerts, management zones, tagging strategies, and monitoring policies.
Perform root cause analysis using Davis AI and provide actionable insights to technical teams.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to resolve performance and stability issues.
Ensure monitoring coverage for core banking systems, payment platforms, APIs, and middleware components.
Integrate Dynatrace with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Splunk, and CI/CD pipelines.
Support production releases, incident response activities, and post-incident reviews.
Prepare performance reports, SLA/SLO metrics, and capacity insights for business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
4–8 years of experience in Application Performance Monitoring and Dynatrace Administration.
Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace SaaS/Managed environments and OneAgent deployment.
Experience monitoring distributed applications, microservices, containers, and cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM), and Synthetic Monitoring.
Experience in root cause analysis, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Experience working in Banking/Financial Services environments with strict SLAs and regulatory compliance requirements.
Understanding of security standards and compliance frameworks applicable to financial systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Dynatrace Associate/Professional Certification.
Experience integrating Dynatrace with ServiceNow, Jira, Splunk, and CI/CD tools.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell) for automation tasks.
Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability production environments.
