About The Job

As a member of the Global Digital M&S Team, the Product Owner will work closely with:

  • Internal Teams: Opella M&S Innovation Solutions and Operational Excellence teams, Digital Quality Solution Architect Lead, Quality teams, and Master Data organization to ensure business/site needs are identified, prioritized, and translated into product vision and roadmap.
  • Digital Business Leaders: Driving awareness, prioritization, and orchestration of resources (budget and manpower) to deliver Quality Operations and Product Management solutions that bring business value.
  • External Partners (Consulting Companies, Vendors): Tracking deliverables as part of the transformation/separation project (Butterfly).

Main Responsibilities

This role requires strong leadership, motivational, and collaborative skills to drive Quality and Product Management solutions while executing in a POD/Agile operating model. The Product Owner will bring deep knowledge of technologies such as QMS Veeva, SAP, Salesforce, ThermoFisher, etc., to adapt solutions to evolving business needs.

Business scope: Quality Assurance, Quality Control, HSE, Product Lifecycle Management – across 13 sites and all Opella markets.

  • Define and own the end-to-end Quality and Product Management solution roadmap in alignment with stakeholders, Solution Architects, and Butterfly Project.
  • Fully accountable for delivery of the Quality/Product Management roadmap, including budget, resources, and performance management.
  • Set up and execute the POD/Agile operating model for the Quality and Product Management product lines.
  • Support analytics transformation within Quality and Product Management.
  • Track and report comprehensive metrics to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of products.
  • Understand business requirements, challenge and translate them into competitive product solutions.
  • Lead/contribute to RFPs and partner selection processes.
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Collaborate with Service Performance Managers/Digital Ops to ensure SLAs are established and met.
  • Provide L2 support for competitive advantage products.
  • Drive data governance in collaboration with Opella’s global data organization.
  • Define short-, mid-, and long-term sourcing of skills & talent (internal and external).

About You

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent in Information Technology, Manufacturing, or Engineering.

Required Knowledge And Experience

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years as a Quality Product Owner.
  • Hands-on experience with Quality Management tools at site level.
  • Experience with Data Management tools (product focus).
  • Proven experience leading transversal/global teams.
  • Background in multiple industries (FMCG experience preferred).
  • Proven track record with modern technologies, Lean/Agile practices, and digital transformation programs in Manufacturing/Quality.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills in a global environment.
