DevOps With Data Platform Engineering On-Prem And Cloud Technical Manager

We are looking for a skilled DevOps with Data Platform Engineer with strong experience in OpenShift and Kubernetes, along with hands-on expertise in private cloud/on-prem environments. The role involves building, deploying, and managing scalable infrastructure and data platforms, with a focus on automation, reliability, and performance.

Required Skills

Experience should have 12+ years DevOps with Data Platform Engineering (On-Premises & Cloud)

Strong Experience In

• OpenShift (primary skill): Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with: Python scripting, On-premises or private cloud environments.
• Good understanding of: Containerization and CaaS (Container-as-a-Service) platforms, Infrastructure automation and configuration management & Experience in data platform deployment and integration.
  

• Airflow, Trino, Flink, Hive, DBT
• OpenMetadata, Superset
• Iceberg / S3-based storage systems
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience in Banking or Payments domain.
• Understanding on the SDLC.
• Understanding on the Agile methodologies.
• Communication with customer and producing the Daily status report.
• Should have good oral and written communication.
• Should be a good team player.
• Should be proactive and adaptive.
  

• Provision and manage infrastructure resources including compute, storage, and networking
• Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms
• Manage environments across development, testing, and production
• Build and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using tools like Helm and Terraform
• Automate deployment processes and improve system efficiency
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing (observability) solutions
• Manage backup and recovery processes
• Deploy and integrate data platform components in private cloud/on-prem environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as SRE, Security, IAM, and development teams
• Develop reusable templates and standards for infrastructure and deployments.
