DevOps Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud and DevOps solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kubernetes, GitOps, Terraform, Azure, GCP, and CI/CD, along with solid architectural and technical leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
  
• Architect and manage Kubernetes environments for containerized applications.
  
• Implement and maintain GitOps practices for automated and controlled application and infrastructure deployments.
  
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  
• Design and support cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  
• Build, enhance, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
  
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Architecture teams to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
  
• Establish DevOps best practices for monitoring, logging, security, scalability, reliability, and disaster recovery.
  
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
  
• Participate in infrastructure and application architecture discussions and provide recommendations for scalable technical solutions.
  
• Lead and mentor DevOps engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.
  
• Drive DevOps automation initiatives and continuously improve engineering processes and platform reliability.
  
• Ensure adherence to security, governance, and compliance standards across cloud environments.
  

Requirements

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related areas.
  
• Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  
• Proven experience implementing GitOps methodologies and deployment workflows.
  
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  
• Hands-on experience with Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
  
• Strong knowledge of designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Experience with cloud infrastructure architecture, scalability, high availability, and security.
  
• Strong understanding of DevOps tools, automation, source control, and release management.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
  
• Experience in technical architecture and solution design.
  
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives.
  
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
  
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
  
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
  
• Relevant Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications would be an added advantage.
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
