ICE Corporate Systems is actively recruiting a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses exclusively on application development and platform customization. You will collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requirements and with QA teams to ensure high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong development skills to drive technical excellence, ensure platform stability, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Leadership
Contribute to solution design for new and existing ServiceNow capabilities.
Lead small projects and effectively communicate status updates to management/stakeholders.
Participate in development meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Assist in the training and mentorship of new team members.
Solution Delivery
Build and enhance ServiceNow applications, modules, integrations and workflows using JavaScript, Flow Designer, and other platform tools.
Implement business logic using Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies
Assist in the design and implementation of REST/SOAP integrations with external systems.
Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate functional business requirements into technical specifications.
Collaborate with platform architects to ensure compliance and performance.
Collaborate with QA teams to resolve defects and clarify technical behavior during testing cycles.
Maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and integrations.
Continuous Improvement
Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and recommend adoption of new features.
Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability standards.
Knowledge And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
Alternatively a master’s degree and 1 year of ServiceNow development.
Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow development tools (App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, UI Builder, Configurable Workspace, Script Editor and Portal Design).
Experience with core ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Change, Request, and Knowledge.
Familiarity with additional ServiceNow modules such as HRSD, CSM, or ITOM.
Familiarity with integration techniques using REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience with scoped applications and custom module development
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (JIRA).
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience working in enterprise environments with 1 or more ServiceNow instances.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
